As a young child, I enjoyed playing the piano, but my music lessons were boring and tedious due to my piano teacher's harsh teaching methods that often included her hitting my fingers when I played a wrong note. Yikes!

I learned how to play the piano, but it was not until I was an adult that I developed a love for music that went beyond just reading notes on a staff. Now that I am a music teacher, my hearts desire is to teach my students the fundamentals of music without taking out all the fun!

Combining learning and fun is why I started EthnoBeats Academy.
